A New perspective
Today I was watching this oldie, but goodie. I'm excited that I learned some new things from the movie. And they're illustrated in this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCzckeou9Os
1) An angry mob has spotted you hiding in a room. In addition, at least one of the mob has started screaming and seriously sped up towards you. Rather than immediately locking the door, wait till the mobster gets right up to the door before you secure it.
2) Apparently, angry mobs think that breaking down a door will happen if one person violently bangs away, while the others merely tap and graze the door.
3) A wild 1/2 man, 1/2 beast is running down the hall at you, wildly waving his arms and screaming loud enough to wake up the entire city. It hardly sounds like he's approaching to make friends or ask for a cup of coffee. And you've seen him rushing you from a fair distance. Don't run away, nor try to crawl/slide under him. Even though you outnumber him 15 to 1, don't: knock the beast over, trip him, assault him or stab him with your three-foot-long knives. Furthermore, don't think of an ingenious, new way to open the door that one minute of beating, tapping, banging and grazing has failed to do.
Instead, just helplessly stand there in place, watching the savage approach you. In addition to cowering, yelling and waiting to die. Lmao!!
4) When your life's in danger and time's of the essence, don't make a run for it. On the contrary, casually make jokes with your pets, stare at a door that angry men/monsters are trying to beat down so they can kill you and take your sweet time backing out of the room.
5) Tanya Roberts has a nice a$$.
*I'm not trolling. I grew up watching and loving this film with my family, and I'm simply having some fun :-)
