Where's the Basket Case 2 DVD? Any Info?

(I posted this same message on the Basket Case 2 IMDB board, but it appears completely dead, so I figured I'd post it here as well.)

So Basket Case 1 is available in a surprisingly good Special Edition DVD. Now Basket Case 3: The Progeny is also available on DVD(no special features, but just finally having it on dvd is good enough for me...)But where the heck is the Basket Case 2 DVD? Fox owns the rights to this one as well, correct? So why did they release part 3, but not 2? That doesn't make any sense. Has anyone heard if a DVD for this entry is planned? I realize these aren't incredibly popular movies, but if the other 2 can get DVD releases, surely this one can as well. It would be nice to have the whole trilogy in my DVD collection.

Also, I do realize that it's available on Region 2 DVD, but I want a Region 1 release since my Panasonic S-47 DVD player isn't region free.

I subscribe to Netflix and don't see "Basket Case 2" on DVD either. I guess I will have to go to my nearest Hollywood Video store and get it on VHS.

Sorry if I couldn't give you any information.

P.S. I do hope that "Basket Case 2" does come on DVD since "Basekt Case" and "Basket Case 3" are both on DVD.

I hope so too. I have the first one on DVD and VHS... and I first saw it over 5 years ago... but, I haven't even seen the sequels... would definitely be nice to have the others.

It's been out on R2 for quite a while and in different versions. In fact, I'm going to watch it right now...

Basket Case 2 WILL be released on Oct. 30th. =oD
It even has a making-of called "Beyond The Wicker" on it.. personally, I can't wait..

Synapse is also doing ANOTHER limited edition released of Brain Damage (that makes 3 limited versions) also releasing on Oct. 30th.
