Miscellaneous musings about Basket Case and WTC
a) Its funny. Basket Case is a comedy horror but when I first saw it (I was a teenager in 1982) I was so on edge keyed up freaked out in anticipation of what was in the basket I couldnt appreciate the pure camp of it. Kind of like if on a roller coaster you might be too on edge to appreciate the
scenery for example.
b) When seeing the beautiful aerial shot of the NYC skyline of 1982 (or 1981, as another thread said it was actually filmed a year earlier) replete with the imposing World Trade Center, did anyone else notice a low flying plane in the background? I thought that was totally eerie.
