Just watched Basket Case for the first time. I had never heard of this movie before. My brother gave me a stack of old VHS tapes from his friends house after helping him move. After two weeks of procrastination I finally got around to watching Basket Case. I made the mistake of watching it while eating.

I loved the cult classic B movie feel of the film. Everything about it screams low budget horror gore. Everything from the bad acting to the animation of Belial moving on the ground by himself. I can't wait to watch the sequels.

I saw it for the first time a few days ago. Laughed my socks off! Thought the last 10 minutes were a bit iffy though.

I recall back in the 80's when Medusa video distributions released all of these horrors. Good ol days of vhs.

Hello again! I remember discussing kung fu films on here with you. And 80s horror. Re-Animator is sooooo entertaining! I remember VHS with fondness as well. :)

hello..yes i remember..we met on the Thriller thread..its coming to Halloween again..woohoo.
Im currently watching hammer classics and amicus films. My favs!

AS for Kung fu..i have few lined up..Yuen Biao films; on the run and kid from tibet.

Reanimator is a classic and proper cult status. If you haven't seen Nightbreed? Then that is a must, clive barker underrated gem.

I watched it for the first time last night, and thought it was excellent.

I also recommend Killer Klowns From Outer Space.
