DID ANYONE NOTICE???

I found a glaring mistake in this movie...when Duane runs up to Dr. Kutter's office (the lady doctor), he says something like "She's a veterinarian??" Implying that he's surprised at this fact...then when he walks in for his appointment, Dr. Kutters says something like "When you called you said your cat had a large scratch..." So WHY was Duane surprised that she was a vet if he had previously called about his "cat"? Unless Duane calls human doctors to look at his pets...but I doubt that lol

what?

You're right... I noticed the exact same thing!

I noticed that too, but perhaps the scene was meant to show how the guy was shunted around from pillar to post by various medics. Also, the 'vet' might have forgotten that she'd even dealt with a human being. Or maybe I was just too sleepy when I watched the movie in the early hours of this morning!

It's possible he filled out the forms in the office saying his cat has a scratch after he saw the sign.

He also says during that scene that Lifflander was a vet, too--so he shouldn't be surprised that Kutter was a vet at that point.

**SPOILER ALERT**

No, I didn't catch it. perhaps the character was using pretense before he had his brother actually murdered her.

1) No one mentions a phone call; just that "he said," which could have been on the intake forms

2) Duane never says Lifflander was a vet; he just calls him Dr. Lifflander

Just watched this minutes ago, and actually the vet DOES say "on the phone you said your cat has a cut on its side?"...and he does say "Let me tell you how my cat got the cut. I took it to another VET, Dr. Lifflander, who operated on him unsuccessfully. (dr Kutter laughs at the mention of the name) Actually, it's not a cat. You know Dr. Lifflander, then?" That's not a perfect quote (because I'm not going to play back the whole movie just to find the exact words) but I'm positive that's the information they exchanged.
