Since nobody mentioned it yet, you may as well watch Basket Case 2 & 3.

Huh? PUPPET MASTER is nothing at all like BASKET CASE.
If you want to check out similar works, I'd recommend Henenlotter's other films: the great FRANKENHOOKER and BRAIN DAMAGE.

The Sinful Dwarf (1972)
The Dark Half (1993)

Citizen Kane.
shareYeah, Brain Damage is fun. Street Trash is good 80's. The Brood has some sort of little giblet in it.
shareBrain Damage is definately the best bizarre horror movie out there, it's fantastic, and i agree with whatthe last person said, Street Trash is also cool (theres a great new 2 disc version of this movie). I also think The Borrower is well worth checking out, it's bizarre but has a great cast and script, it's great fun to watch.

Sinful Dwarf, huh, I'll have to check that one out.

A couple months ago I too discovered how cool Henenlotter's films are. At my local cult video store, I <3 Video (a bad-ass Austin Tx essential store), I asked for a recommendation for something similar, too.
They recommended Society, directed by Brian Yuzna. It was a TWISTED film!! You absolutely have to see it! Look it up on this site!

Hmm, I think the most similar one you'll get, besides the BC sequels, is the movie "Brain Damage" and that's by the same director.
See ya' in the funny papers.
You probably are long gone from IMDB by now, but "Private Parts" kind of reminds me of BC. It was made in 1972 (instead of 82) and was set in the seedy section of L.A. (instead of NYC), but there are definite similarities, including having a majority of the action take place inside a hotel.
