IMDB deleted my trivia?

Around 2003, assistant director Jerry Ziesmer came to one of my college classes and gave an in-depth discussion about his career. In preparation for it, we had read his book "Ready When You Are..." and within the book he gives a detailed account of the making of this film which he confirmed in person. In the book, he told the story that on-set, John Huston was a total non-entity due to being either hungover or passed-out drunk for the entire shoot. Huston couldn't have been any less interested in the project and basically gave it to the crew to make the movie around him. It's kind of an interesting case study in what a movie is like when the director doesn't actually direct it (TOMBSTONE is another example) and how well things can potentially hold together if you have a good enough DP or AD on set to keep everything moving.

The real scandal here is that I added the bare bones basics of that on the IMDB Trivia Section for the movie back then and it stood for over a decade. In more recent years, the IMDB has gotten a lot more "sensitive" and quietly deleted the trivia. They did the same to a bunch of my IMDB comment/reviews. Back in the day, they used to tell you that something was being taken down and even store it in a handy spot so you could still access it. Nowadays, IMDB just deletes things as passively as possible giving you no idea what was "wrong" with what you posted. The same thing happened to my review of MESSAGE FROM SPACE, for what I assume was merely pointing out that Vic Morrow was likely intoxicated during most of the film. See the through-line? I guess pointing out when a film crew or cast member was drunk now constitutes some kind of censorable slander of some kind, even when they are long passed?
