Did all those orphans parents die orrr
Were they given away as babies to orphanages b/c of the Great Depression.
The Great Depression was a bad time period, where people barely had enough money to support themselves let alone their kids. I have this theory that some of Annie's friends have parents who are alive but are too poor to provide for them so they dropped them off at the orphanage as a result thinking it would give them a better life?
