Why did Sonny need to be possessed to kill his father?

He should've shotgunned that abusive prick long before he did.

reply

LOL, I'm not a violent person, but I would've killed the SOB myself!

reply

Yeah, he's a fat slob who thinks he's tough and demands to be called "sir". He's basically Paulie (Young's Rocky character) if he had gotten married and had kids. He got what he deserved.

reply

Why say that? He might have been possessed too. We don't TRULY know that they had such problems beforehand. DVD labels fib more than you think.

reply

Yes we do, we see he's abusive right when he gets out of the car at the start.

reply

Exactly, it's established right away that he is an abusive ass hole.

He seemed pretty cheerful to me when he was driving into the driveway and first got out with the kids. Seemed like once he was on the property, the house kind of brought out his bad side or something.

reply

The house didn't bring out his bad side, he brought it out himself.

The mom DID say that they had been at it, SINCE they had arrived.

reply

So what? Does that mean that they were the Osmonds before they arrived?

reply

I'll leave that for you to figure out. LOL

If that is the case, then the incest and the demon entering the boy's body all happened when they were still the Osmonds.

reply

I think the family was screwed up way before they bought the house...
