My opinion: Her acting was distractingly bad - the scene in the beginning where she and the daughter sing in unison...hilarious!
In a movie where all performances were pretty bad and the script was lame, for her to stand out as the worst of the bunch is quite a feat.
Her poor performance aside, I also don't find her attractive in the least, therefore my astonishment at someone refering to her as a milf.
Frankly, after they all got killed, the movie went straight downhill because there was nothing left to care about, so not surprised you lost interest, I did too - but not due to the mom dying in particular.
I'm sure she's a fine woman, just not my type.

MILF stands for Mom I'd Like to *beep* and I would not like to, and I don't like her acting in this movie - not sure how much clearer I can be.

I won't change my opinion of an actress in a movie based on "growing up". My guess is that you are a younger man than I am, anyway. My opinion has nothing to do with age.

I thought the mother was lovely, she had an 'innocent everyday look' to her.
