does any one know the band that plays in the club

i look on the cast list and it wasnt there.

The name of the band is "The Sic F_cks".
They also did a lot of the soundtrack.

The Sic *beep* 12" vinyl EP was released in 1982 on Sozyamuda Records, the track listing is as follows:
Side 1: (Take Me To) The Bridge
Side 2: Insects Rule My World
Spanish Bar Mitzvah
Rock Or Die
Chop Up Your Mother

The EP states "See and hear the Sic *beep* in the motion picture "Alone In The Dark" and also states the record is "in memory of John Belushi and Lester Bangs."

I don't know if they ever put out a record, but I did have the honor of seeing them perform live in NYC.

By the way, I just saw "Alone in the Dark" last night, and if I remember correctly they are listed in the credits as "The Sick *beep* - with the asterisk replacing the "u".

The band is pretty cheezy in the movie, wielding prop axes during the "chop" song. Though maybe they were already cheezy. Their name may have been their claim to fame.

Th Sic *beep* still perform occasionally in New York City, and always put on a great show. The backup singers, Tish ansd Snooky, were in Blondie early on and are also owners of the Manic Panicpunk fashion line. Russell Woolinsky, the singer, was a roadie for The Dictators (another roadie of theirs is responsible for HBO's Entourage). The band started playing CBGB around 1978 and have continued off and on since then. Chop Up Your Mother!

I am going to get that CD if it is the last CD I get. That and Death Piggy. If anybody likes GWAR, they should know that GWAR were Death Piggy from the early '80s up to the mid-to-late '80s.
