in the light of recent rehashes of classic 70s and 80s shows - they should just make a remake of tj hooker as well. after all, what are the odds that the final movie will be worse than william shatner supercop:) anyone agree???

I would like to see the original cast (especially Shatner!) in their old characters!
They all rejoin 20 years after their last assignment, and they solve a last case togheter! What would you think aout that?

but only if they have more lines like this one (taken from showtime):

Shatner: (advising Eddie Murphy on how TV cops taste drugs) You spear the knife into the bag... then pick some of the drugs up with the knife... then lightly press it on your tongue. And that is how TV cops taste drugs!

I for one, am tired of remakes and re-imagings. Hollywood needs to go with new ideas.

The NEW IDEAS Hollywood has been going with is definately increasing the sales of the vintage TV SHOWS ON DVD.
