Help me please.

Hello,

When I was young and living in Europe we had a television that picked up one channel. On it, I tuned in every week to watch a police show from the US called "THE POLICE OFFICERS" (Which is obviously not the US title, but a vague translation)

I'm just curious whether this show used large, heavily armored swat-truck like vehicles in certain circumstances? Was there ever an episode with a hijacked schoolbus? Did two officers, a man and a woman, ever get trapped in rubble after and explosion and then need rescuing?

If you know the show which included the above, please tell me - I have been trying to figure this out for so long my mind is telling me I'm making things up. I am NOT making things up. It was my favorite show, and when my mother forbid me from watching it I even threw one hell of a tantrum.

Sincerely,
"Krupnik"

That does sound like T.J. Hooker. One of my favorite episodes has a guy that highjacks a school bus. I do not remember two of the officers being trapped in rubble. They did use those SWAT vehicle every so often when there was a kidsnapping. It is also possible that the show you are looking for is S.W.A.T.
I have never seen an episode but it sounds like that could be the show also.

I think S.W.A.T is more likely, use of anything but patrol cars was never a main thing in TJ Hooker, certainly not something that'd be a foremost memory. Try tv.com and search for Hooker, they have a video clip featuring the main characters, that should reignite some old memories or not. The school bus incident is the one that features in the title sequence, when Hooker jumps onto a yellow B-Line bus that is carrying nuns to the convant where the Bible Attacker lives.
