Why No Reunion TV Movie???

TJ Hooker ended over twenty years ago in 1987 and why in all this
time has there never been a reunion movie written and filmed??
I'd really like to see the entire original cast come back for
a tv reunion and I'm willing to bet that Adrian Zmed would be
hungry for the work! I've always liked him and he seems so down
on himself in "Confessions Of A Teen Idol." Any other Hooker
fans would care to see a reunion movie?

I'm James "Sonny" Crockett!

Anything that would feature James Darren prominently is OK by me.

Agreed, I like James Darren as an actor and he was great in
TJ Hooker. I haven't seen him on tv since he appeared in
ST: DS9.

I saw him live and in person in Ocean City New Jersey last year (he showed a clip from T J Hooker) and I'm going to see him again in Las Vegas in May. He still looks great.

A possible reunion scenario. Since William Shatner and James Darren are both in their 70s, have Hooker & Corrigan, forced into retirement, open a detective agency. Stacy and Romagno, being younger, would do the leg work, although James Darren looks like he's in good enough shape to handle some action scenes. Shatner, however, does not but he could solve crimes with his brain. James Darren could go under cover as a lounge singer.

Bill the Ego probably refused to do it unless it was just him doing a 2-hour monologue.

I hate to say this about my favorite show of the 80's, but there is not enough love for this show. I still think it's great, but it would not work making a reunion movie now. Everyone is past their prime. That is why the Star Trek worked, everyone still had what it took to make it believable.
