Being shown on Quest (UK Digital channel)
Just a heads up for anyone in the UK with Freeview that T.J. Hooker is being shown on Quest (Freeview channel 38)

Watched a couple of episodes on Quest. They're showing them reformatted for a 16:9 widescreen ratio screen. I realise this cuts off some picture information but they actually look really good in this format. Quest is also showing "Ironside" too and again they're in the widescreen format.
One of the episodes they aired was the one with the Bible Killer and it has Hooker leaping on top of a bus with kidnapped nuns in it. That's quality TV right there! Loved every minute of it!
The episode with gang selling drugs near schools was on Sunday.
Where Hooker stays on the bonnet of the car while it drives off is classic Shatner.
I have the DVD but wish theyd bring out the whole series out.
And if, you know, your history...it's enough to make your heart go whoooooahh
I wish we got it in reruns in the USA. And release the whole series. I want the rest of the James Darren episodes.
shareWhat a shame the re-runs stopped at the end of Season 3. They've gone back to the beginning again. It means I get to catch the first few episodes which I missed but I wished they'd have shown all 5 seasons first.
shareI wonder if this means they'll be releasing at least season three. I'm in the States. I won't get to see them unless someone posts them illegally on YouTube.
shareI cannot believe that a company like Shout has not bought the rights to this show. Shatner and Heather still have star power and I would think this show would sell. Season 3 was great. Heather got to wear skimpy clothing and she was more part of the team. James Darren was a great addition. Come on and release it. I am sure a big screen movie will push a release, but I do not want to wait that long.
