I was watching TJ Hooker on Universal HD the other night and a girl asked Hooker if he had shot anyone in the line of duty. Shatner gave a melodramatic stare in reply but it made me think back to my childhood doesnt Hooker shoot someone in every other episode? or is that just my imagination?
shareJust finished watching on in Universal HD and he did not shoot anyone. Corrigan wounded a guy. I would say he probably shot someone in about 80% of the shows.
shareThat is true on a lot of cop shows. Most cop shows have the stars shooting people in at least many episodes. Look at Walker Texas Ranger. I doubt there was a single episode where the stars didn't shoot somebody.
I do know that it is not usuaally the case in real life. If cops went around killing people anywhere near as often as they do on many tv shows they would before long get in a lot of trouble or at least be seriously investigated.
