Stacy Being Save A LOT?

OK, I don't know if this has been made a thread already, but I had to get this off my chest. I've watched several episodes off of Universal HD and have noticed that Stacy is constantly in need of saving. Why? She is a Police Officer and has training to take perps down on her own, but she is always seen having to be saved by Hooker so he can fist fight. I understand being a cop doesn't mean your automatically gonna be able to take people down all the time, but she NEVER fights, NEVER shows her training, its like she is there just to be a pretty face....oh wait...DAMN Still it would have been nice to see that this police force only graduated cadets who could take care of themselves

Well, I agree a little bit with that statement. Heather was beautiful and likable and that is why she got the part. You have to realize it was Shatner's show and he was that man who would save the others when they got in trouble. I don't remember him having to save her too many times. It makes sense that she would need saved when she went undercover.

Its just annoying, it doesn't ruin the show, but it is a huge error cause in the 80's, especially since the whole women's lib just started giving them equal rights you would think the training to be a cop would be tougher on her, so she would have trained harder to prove herself, but she seems to always need saving or is always being having a gun held on her. I mean I know when your a cop you start off on the desk or parking ticket type stuff and than you have to go out in the real world, but being held up or saved that many times must tell the force that maybe she needs more training cause all she is doing is making a collar a bit more difficult.

Also, she is a horrible actor. Delivers lines like she's reading them from the script. Very wooden performance. Emotions displayed don't match the situation or dialogue. But.....well, let's just say she's the equivalent of a boner pill for Aaron And Bill.

She was cast on the show more for her body and her face than her acting. Just watch her in Season 3, episode 2 "Carnal Express". She does a couple of scenes in a skimpy outfit. She looked great! I don't care about her acting when she takes off her clothes! That helps me get off, if you know what I mean.
