Sharon Stone spinoff episode

Any information on Hollywood Starr? It was on in Feb of the last season on ABC. Sharon Stone plays Dani Starr (get it?)a detective in Hollywood.

It's quite ridiculous in the way they make it seem Hollywood is somehow in an entirely different location from Los Angles where Hooker usually patrols. They even make a point that Hooker has to get a hotel room. But Hollywood is in the middle of LA. Hooker is constantly paroling downtown, santa monica, even in the hollywood area. it's all LA.

But the opening of the episode is like a different show. it's all Sharon Stone. There's even a theme song (rip off of I'm So Excited)and faux opening credits like mtv video showing Stone walking the blvd. undercover. It's awesomely 80's and hysterical.

We never see Hooker in uniform. Nor his partners. Or Hooker's home base.

It's entirely shot like a pilot. Even back then... 5 years before Total Recall... she really did have screen presence.
