Who was your favorite villain ?

Lots of classic Marvel villains made their big cartoon breaks in this show. Some made excellent appearances while others, not so much. Personally, guys like Magneto, Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Dr Doom all made better appearances in Spider-Man's solo 1981 series. Swarm might have been brilliant, if not for the way everyone chanted his name, making his episode hokey. Chameleon, Kingpin and Mysterio were fun but I prefer guys that do more than hide behind gimmicks and tricks. Scorpion didn't really do much. Red Skull and Loki were both pretty awesome. However, I've been thinking and these are my personal top 5.

1) Shocker - I'm already a huge Shocker fan, underappreciated villain in my opinion, and he had a magnificient showing here in what was probably the best episode of the show.
2) Dr Doom - It's a shame that he had to play along with Mr Frump,, and he came off a lot better on Spidey's solo show but he was still Doom, and thats ussally awesome imo.
3) Sandman - His construction site fight was pretty fun and it was nice seeing him make Pete's life hell.
4) Beetle - Normally pretty lame but it was fun watching him bring the team together. I also liked that he wasn't a quitter.
5) Juggernaut - Unstoppable as always. He was actually worthy of the combined forces of the X-Men and Spider-Friends, unlike Cyberiad.

Dishonorable Mention - Videoman
It's too bad that Dennis Marks (rest in peace) decided that he was the Cool Character find of the 80's and he should be in as many episodes as possible. It was especially disatisfying watching Electro hide behind him instead of going full psycho and taking on the Spider-Friends himself. All in all, he'll probably be one of the cheesy things the show will be most remembered for.

Still got my fingers crossed, waiting for Judas Contract to get green-lit
