needs to be on tv again
I think this show needs to be put back on tv like maybe on TV Land or something, it was on Nick at night for a short while. I think this show would be great for TV Land. anybody else agree?

shareI agree I would like to see the show on TV Land, or even better for Sony to wise up and release it on DVD.
shareYeah, it was a good show. The early stuff is hilarious, like the episode with Ox and Mr. T as Ricky's bodyguard.

The entire show is this non-royalty living in a castle (and he's not batman either) who is super wealthly and finds out he has a son from a prior relationship and is (apparently) doing his executive assistant.
The super-rich getting to do whatever they want as a positive/main plot won't be seen as really awesome now.
Apparently it's on a new broadcast network called antena. I accidentally caught some episodes today. Seeing a VERY young Jason Bateman panic re divorce was hysterical....even if it's bc his dad messes around (how does a LITTLE boy know about that at that age!!)
But the show's otherwise not that memorable. Facts of life @ least tried to bring in 'everyday' people (Gerri, Jo).
I'd already seen a young Jason Bateman on Little House on the Prairie, but it was Silver Spoons that made me a fan of his work. Looking at Silver Spoons now, he's perhaps the best thing in it. His followup NBC series It's Your Move had Jason playing a highly similar teenage conman.
shareagree. Jason's supposed to be the character w 'edge' everybody else is goody goody. The dad is still nice to look @ yes I knew that even as little girl) in an otherwise 'meh' show. The show is made for really little kids.
