Ever notice the boat in the intro...

Everytime I watch the intro to the show, I see the boat heading towards the road, and wonder where in the heck it is going. I am assuming there is some sort of tunnel or something, but as the camera pans towards the road, it really looks as if there is nowhere for the boat to go, but as it is going pretty fast, there must be SOMEWHERE for it to go. Just something I noticed.

I've noticed that to. It just sort of heads in that direction and vanishes. Obviously it is some sort of fade out but it looks really weird and I'm surprised it was left in.

The boat is going quite full speed, apparently about to ram into the shore. It looks planned, as the car is shown driving toward the camera in the same shot.

It amazes me that the little dog who runs out of the house doesn't chase after the car and get killed.
