As for everyone else on "Newhart", I think they're Hilary supporters. But, I bet the Darryl with black hair is a Trump fan!
I think most of the cast would be Bernie supporters when he was still in the running, since Bernie was from Vermont. Not sure about Kirk, but later Michael would have been a Trump supporter, and so would Stephanie's parents.

I'd wager that Michael and Stephanie never bothered voting, and probably wouldn't even know who was running. After all, Michael didn't even know that there has been two World Wars.
shareWatched an episode last night-"Jumping George". Both Stephanie and Michael talked about being fans of Donald Trump's book-"The Art of the Deal". He was the new hot topic back in the late 80s and early 90s.
