Watched "I Enjoy Being a Guy" this week (air date of April 10, 1983). In one scene, Jim is talking to another member of the club, who thinks the Red Sox look good.

Jim replied by saying he thinks it's Baltimore's year.

Baltimore went on to beat Philadelphia in the 1983 World Series (as a Phillies fan, I remember this well).

If he were a better gambler, he could have won some money on this. 

But the Tigers the next year. Ah yes, I remember that well. I was a senior at U of Mich.
The town went wild and they destroyed everything.
