Like the super pursuit mode, to gaudy looking. And while we're on the subject the addition of the RC character was a dumb decision. His acting was horrible and the way he was trying to "talk jive" was so LAME!

SPM always seemed redundant to me, KITT could easily reach astronomical speeds in earlier seasons without special modes.
As for RC, he added exactly ZERO value to the show.
It was obvious that by season 4 the producers were clutching at straws to freshen the show up but ultimately it just degraded the show.
Exactly. Those kinds of changes are almost always indicative of the show running out of gas (no pun intended). It's the Cousin Oliver Effect.
