Rumored Re-boot with African-American Female
What are all your thoughts on the upcoming re-boot with an African American Female lead as Michael Knight? I think they should have an Indian as Bonny, and a Latino as Miles?

shareI'm all for ethnic diversity but it just wouldn't work at all as everyone is familiar with all characters being Caucasian from the original show.
I think a reboot is a bad idea as we saw in 2008.

2008 reboot had potential especially toward the end of the season. As usual today, shows are not given any time to find their footing. Many many shows from the 90's on back sucked in the first season not found their rhythm and became great shows.
shareI don't have a problem with a reboot doing that. i probably won't watch it anyway, since i'm not the target demographic.
What was missing from the 2008 reboot is they tried to change the dynamic of the cop-buddy-show-appeal of "Michael and KITT" to "Micheal and some chick". the car needs become a prominent character like the original. oh, and NO *beep* MUSTANGS!
"He's dusted, busted and disgusted, but he's ok"
My question would be is WHY? If that happens then Roots should be re-made by an all white cast.
shareThe OP is full of s#it, he just wanna start a race debate!
