new dvd and blu ray release have all the episodes in right order ?
a new dvd / blu of the complete series will be released in 11nth of October.

I never noticed any on the original DVD releases, but perhaps, I've been living under a rock this whole time.
I can't imagine it was as bad as SLIDERS. Now there was a show famous for airing episodes out of production order. The DVDs released them as how they aired. share
in season 1 dvd's some of the first episodes were placed in last discs so there was a chronological issue.

On the old Set, on Season 1 the Pilot is moved to Disc 7 with Episode 21 and Episode 22 is on Disc 8. Disc 1 starts with the first regular episode Deadly Maneuvers.
The DVDs released them as how they aired.
That is pretty common though.
A lot of shows are produced in a different order than how it's shown on TV. The most famous example is Star Trek TOS where the Pilot (Where No Man has gone before) was shown as the third episode, the third produced episode was shown as the 10th one and so on.
Another good example is The A-Team where they switched two episodes around, you can tell it by Murdock wearing shirts that say "Almost Fini" and "Fini" share
