James Earl Jones.....

For a long time,I thought James Earl Jones (voice of Darth Vader) was the voice of KITT. If you close your eyes, you can imagine it as well.

reply

Um, no, I don't think so.

Men are like bank accounts. Without a lot of money, they don't generate much interest.

reply

Michael, I am your father....

reply

They would have had to change KITT's name to "KITT Vader".

reply

Nope, never. Jones has a very distinctive voice which i think wouldn't even work for KITT since it was way too deep and kinda sinister sounding.

reply

I always thought it was Mike Tyson voice

reply

James Earl Jones never did any voice acting in this show.

KITT's voice was to high pitched to be voiced by James Earl Jones.

William Daniels provided the voice for KITT. Weirdly, William Daniels, guest starred in an episode of "The Incredible Hulk" TV Series, and his voice was nearly the same. All they did was "computerize" his voice a tad, for KITT. It was strange to hear KITT's voice coming from this guy.

KARR on the other hand, had a deeper more sinister voice. Much like Darth Vader. James Earl Jones could have done the voice for KARR, BUT DID NOT...

KARR was featured in two stories. And two different actors voiced KARR.

Voice actor Peter Cullen, who provided the voice for Optimus Prime in the Transformers G1 Cartoon, provided the voice for KARR in "Trust Doesn't Rust".

Paul Frees provided the voice for KARR in "K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.".

They would have had to REALLY pitch up his voice, dude.
