See..this is why I hate Netflix...they are so bipolar with their programming

I was watching through the series and on season 5. I skipped to the end before it went off. Netflix is losing a lot of classics but isn't replacing them with similar material. The service keeps getting worse.

Yeah, they have dropped Family Ties, Wings, and Coach. I do something called Sitcom Therapy when I am feeling down, and many classic sitcoms are my go to shows for this since I think most sitcoms today lack heart of the sitcoms of the 80s. In fact, I find most of them filth since they resort cheap gags to get laughs.

I am in a minority where I love classics more than new TV. I mostly watch MeTV and Antenna TV and rarely have new shows I watch. I have to go to YouTube hoping someone puts up classic sitcoms since most TV stations do not satisfy that need.

Chances are they will be back on Netflix sooner or later. This happens all of the time when contracts run out and need to be negotiated. If it's any consolation, Family Ties is on Amazon Prime Instant Video.

I was wondering where it went. FT was on their streaming service for a good five years or so. Hope it comes back.
