Did Meredith Baxter do her own singing?

Yes, she did. Sounded like a goat.

Not so. This is a style of female folk singing, which she does quite well. You obviously have never listened to Joan Baez.

I like Joan Baez. Meredith Baxter is no Joan Baez. Her voice is a piercing shrill.

You can say that again!

That episode where she did some singing at a club showed how awful she was.

I've seen her in a lot of shows and movies and her character has always been very narcissistic.

So in a way I kind of enjoyed seeing her taken down.

I think her voice is pleasant enough. She's not great or anything, but she can carry a tune.
