"There was a kangaroo...

... In my living room..."

Priceless! This was uttered repeatedly by a stunned Steven Keaton to his children in the episode where the kids turn the house into a hotel. :)

That's always been one of my favorite scenes on the show. :)

It's one of mine too but Antenna TV surprisingly cut Alex's next line: "he was only here for the party, Dad". Very upsetting.

Oh, that is frustrating. :/

When a sitcom hits syndication, a few minutes are cut to make way for commercials. Antenna TV didn't cause the cut as they have the syndicated package of the show that CBS/Paramount distributes.

Antenna has the option of getting the uncut episodes. They chose not to because they want to air more commercials. That said, Antenna doesn't choose the cuts - that happens on CBS's end.

"Then I guess I'm overreacting." It IS disappointing that that was cut, and is the reason I'm giving up on syndicated reruns.

I also love when Alex says, "Do you plan to be mad at us for the rest of your life?" and Steven inhales, pauses and replies, "That is my plan." [ETA: And his eyes darting with anger! I forgot about the darting eyes...] And how for a while he can't talk, only growl and rub his beard.

That kangaroo had great timing, bucking right after Alex says, "Now Dad, don't go jumping to conclusions."

Watching it right now. Gross in the few scenes when he's angry is classic, I guess because he is so calm most of the time
