Question about episode 'A Cry for Help' (in Season 1)

Hi Everyone!

In the 2 scenes before Cagney & Lacey go to see the informant on Rikers Island, namely (a) the toilet scene where Cagney talks about her ex-boyfriend beating her and (b) where both girls walk to their car....I noticed that Cagney is limping.

Don't think Cagney was injured in any previous scenes....does anyone know if Sharon Gless was limping for real and why?

Just curious. I'm sure this minor trivia won't be much of a challenge to C&L fans. :) Either way, a good reason to watch the episode again! :)

I think Sharon tripped over her dog that morning and I think Chris herself might have felt a cramp in her leg from the stress of talking about her abusive ex-boyfriend. Poor Chris.

I just watched that episode, the first part of the show Cagney is limping and Lacey mentioned her new beau took her parachuting and that's why the bum leg. It appears she limps a lot in the whole episode, not sure if they are keying off the boyfriend or if she really was injured? Interesting question though.
