Actor Charles Keating (Rex Motttram) Dies at 72

When he discovers that you can't convert to Catholicism by "signing on the dotted line" he is given instruction by the eminently frustrated Father Mowbray (John LeMesieur) who describes Rex as "not even corresponding to any form of paganism known to the missionaries."

Father: What do you mean by prayer?

Rex: I don't mean anything. You tell me...

Father: Would you say Our Lord had more than one nature?

Rex: Just as many as you say, Father.

Father: Supposing The Pope looked up and saw a cloud and said "It's going to rain." Would that be bound to happen?

Rex: Oh yes, Father.

Father: But supposing it didn't?

Rex: I suppose it would sort of be raining spiritually, only we were too sinful to see it.
