Lady Marchmain and Her Daughters.

Lady Marchmain was much more attractive than both of Her Daughters. I know the Younger one was supposed to be plain and unattractive, but, Julia Who was considered the Beauty, wasn't.

I agree with the chap below-Diana Quick is gorgeous in this role-remember, she's not playing a simpering, sycophantic slattern, in the style of a modern heroine, this is pre-war-and, love her dearly as I do, her 'warts and all' portrayal of a landless (un)heroine is just perfect...
