...Ronaldinho as the war Prisoner from Trinidad? Pele was about 40 then and almost retired Ronnie is the only one who can replace king Pele

..Jason Statham or Vin Diezel (american like Stalone)as the goalkeeper? Michael Fassbender as the german officer? Daniel Graig as the english veteran footballer (Michael Caine)...

Beckham,or Cantona ,or Vinnie Jones, maybe Zidane? would give an nice "real player" touch

I have already done a re-make. I placed a camcorder in a cardboard box and left it in there running for two hours. The result was in every way superior to the original.

The special fx budget will have to go through the roof as they CGI out all the tattoos from these modern footballers!
