I watched this show for the first time about a month ago. I am not a big Mann fan but I have seen enough to think he makes movies you can watch at least once. I gave Thief a chance and holy Sh!t what a movie this was.I have watched it 2 more times in the past 2 weeks. I was on a James Caan movie kick and this movie is him his ultimate trifecta movie. He is the perfect action star and bad ass. This is a great 80's movie and everybody should see it;

Try watching "The Way of the Gun" if you haven't already. although not the leading character he is about the most likeable character in the film.
