DVD - For Sale?
The STUDENT BODIES page indicates that it is available on DVD, but when you go to the Amazon website, it says its not available. Does anyone know if it is really comming out on DVD anytime soon?

shareI don't think that Student Bodies is coming to DVD anytime soon. In fact, people have posted on the Home Theater Forum asking for Student Bodies. About 1-2 yrs. ago, Martin Blyth posted on Home Theater Forum (Martin Blyth works for Paramount) & he mentioned that there are no current plans to issue Student Bodies on DVD.
BTW: Home Theater Forum is at http://www.hometheaterforum.com/ .
i don't think the movie had enough of a following or made enough money the first time around for dvd plans. unless people just converted their vhs versions to dvd.
I hate cul-de-sacs. There's only one way out.

I got it as an import off of Ebay. It looks like they just took a VHS tape and transfered it to DVD.
shareSTUDENT BODIES made, believe it or not, a little over 5 million at the box office, no lie. That's almost exactly the same amount as MY BLOODY VALENTINE, which Paramount has already released. So the fact that "not enough people know about it" is no excuse for them not to release it on DVD.
A LOT of people want an official DVD release, myself included. I really don't think it's that obscure. The Canadian satellite channel SCREAM shows it a few times a year too.
