I have never seen this movie, but always read the back of the dvd everytime i seen it in movie stores, but is this film about guys before they go to Vietnam, or does it not have any releavence to Vietnam. Cuz they r wearing OD Green, and by the cover they still have th m16vn vrsion, so i was always curious if the movie had anything to do with Nam? anyways thnx in advance!

It's a metaphor for Nam...but there's no actual relation to it in the movie.

why shoot the breeze about it, when you could be about it
