Action and Suspense in the Bayou !
Bayou's seemed to be used a lot in horror story telling from EC Comics in the 1950's up to modern horror movies.They are quite remote and creepy places.I think the use of the Bayou as a location for Southern Comfort was a great idea that worked very well.
