Where exactly were these scenes filmed...
The bits where the soldiers had to wade through knee deep water, very atmospheric, but using Google Earth to view photos of the Louisiana swamps reveals nothing similar.
shareTry Caddo Lake, Tx. They filmed there as well as in Louisiana. Maybe someone who lives near where they filmed in LA can give you more info. I live in Louisiana, but close to New Orleans, not Cajun country.
Update: I just read on the Powers Boothe board that it was filmed in Pitkin, La. Hope that helps!
