Tucker and Dale vs Evil is this film's spiritual twin....

Different genres. But hasn't anyone who loved this film ever watched it and thought...hey you know what, the rednecks could be the victims here! They only returned fire when fired upon after having their boats nicked...everywhere they went in the swamp some loony guardsman would try and attack them...their friends house gets blown up...they try and scare the guardsmen away after defending themselves and get attacked even more.

Watching Tucker and Dale, they'd simply told the movie from the rednecks point of view and swapped guardsmen for dumb teens. When I was watching it I was howling laughing because it was the comedy version of Southern Comfort. I proclaim them movie twins!
