Out of print?! No blu ray?!

On amazon, a new copy of southern comfort on DVD is like 80 bucks! What the hell? No blu ray? Walter Hill won a lifetime achievement award not long ago. Why do his movies get such shotty treatment? I thought they would have released his whole catalogue again after a lifetime achievement award. The complete Walter hill collection, or something. Why is this not on blu ray?! I love this movie, but not more than 80 bucks.

It's probably a long shot given that you live in the States, but Southern Comfort is still available on DVD here in the UK via "Amazon UK". Quite cheap too (roughly $10)

The only thing I would say is that it is Region 2, so it may not play on your DVDs unless you have multi-region.

Couldn't find any version on Blu Ray though

Anyway, here's the link

And I looked & I beheld a pale horse & the name that sat on him was Death & Hell followed with him.

It may as well be a brick with southern comfort written in marker on it, cause it won't play on my region one blu ray player.

Buy a used copy in the $20 price range. It's more than worth it.
