Why are they so phuking stupid and out of control?

I have no knowledge of the national guard and I don't know anyone in it, but this seems like a really insulting portrayal of those soldiers. That is, unless they really are that bad....

Anyone know if this is a realistic portrayal of the Louisiana National Guard(I doubt it), and if not, was this film condemned because of how it presented them?

Good flick, but it's obvious to any veteran (Navy included) that it was made by people who had never served themselves..
