Question: Was Bert really blind, or not?
At certain points in the film, it implies (then outright states) that Burt can see (i.e. "Burt can see!", the scen where he's peeping on Janet in the shower).
But that seems to contradict certain things, such as Bert's not knowing what day, night, or morning are (one of my favorite jokes). Or perhaps I'm misinterpreting the joke?
