Fan roll call!

I know I can't be the only one who loves this film, but finding other fans seems next to impossible. So to any others out there, please post here so that I know that I'm not alone (and others feeling the same way will know that they're not along either)!

Anyway... *dons her little black dress and waves to other fans* :)

I love this movie. Some of the songs in this are better than any of the ones in Rocky Horror.

Come, fly the teeth of the wind. Share my wings.

If you really want to find Shocky fans, gotta go to a Rocky Horror convention - then you'll see what a Shocky showing is all about! I'm proud to have played Bert for the last 4 years, Farley the 3 before that.

I like it, but don't love it. Does that count? :)

Shocky fan here (as my username entails that really!) I used to frequent the boards a couple years back with a few others, still as quiet now as it was then!

Got another fan right here.
I feel that many of the songs are actually better than a few of the ones in Rocky.

I absolutely adore this movie

Just saw it for the first time. As a pretty much life long Rocky Horror fan I have to say it (unsurprisingly, perhaps) doesn't live up to it's predecessor but I found it, still, extemely fun and entertaining film with some very catchy songs in it. And I assume I will now see it again in the not so distant future.

I just watched this film today. Truely a completely underrated movie, with amazing sets and catchy songs. When they said this film is 20 years ahead of its time, they aren't kidding. It forcasted back in 1981 the reality tv of today, with all the intrusiveness of The Truman Show, but this was before reality tv even existed. The world must be made aware of this sequel! It deserves a better reception. I'm proud to say I'm a Rocky and Shocky fan, and I'm not afraid to admit it.

I'm up at 3 a.m., can't sleep for coughing, and the film suddenly popped in my head and lifted my spirits-- I wanted to sing so badly despite my ruined voice: "You'll find happy hearts and smiling faces...." and "Well the best thing you could ever do is diiiiiiiieee". I began thinking how much fun it would be to mount a stage production of it, even a simple one where we play the songs and just do a band-focused version of it with just enough of the story to connect the songs. Sounds like one of the most-fun things I can possibly imagine if I found the right people for it. I'm about to put on the DVD but happened to be online and wanted to add a rating for it here. I gave it an 8 but might have bump it up a notch; think I've got RHPS at 8 but I like Shocky better, and for full disclosure I give 'Phantom of the Paradise' a 10 but won't argue about that, it's only my taste and not 'factual'. I adore Shocky, took a long time to track it down back in the '80s on VHS and copied it, and now have the DVD obviously and it was only five bucks but still one of my prized possessions. I think it's truly brilliant, despite anything about what it was 'supposed to be' and its distance in tone from RHPS, it's a very different beast but such an incredibly detailed film with excellent music which has been in my head for decades.
