2. What ever happend to the Major? You know, the guy in the wheel chair?

I think we're all left to assume the Sheriff was the original killer and just went into the depths of his closet to get out his WWII uniform because... who the hell knows why? Because they're having a graduation dance? LOL. Come on! That's hardly a motive and wasn't the motive behind the original murders anyway. LOL.
They probably ran out of money before revealing what happened to the Major and that scene had to be cut.
