Possibly a Remake?
While at work the other day I was reading about a film called "Listen to the Heart Beats" which, from its plot description, sounds almost identical to "The Prowler". Here's what the paper said...
Meanwhile Danny Cannon, the director of the 90's horror movie "I Know What You Did Last Summer" which starred Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddy Prinze, Jr. will be filming his latest flick, "Listen to the Heart Beats", on the Jersey Shore. "Listen to the Heart Beats" is a stalk-and-slash about a war veteran who murders his girlfriend and her lover in a jealous rage at a 4th of July dance and then several years later goes on a killing spree when teens petition to have the dance held once more. Filming will apparently begin in Long Branch, New Jersey in September.
Sounds familiar... And I read this in "The Monmouth Journal", a newspaper that is distrubed throughout Monmouth County, New Jersey. I tried searching for the article online but I couldn't find it.
