They over did it

For a lot of the kills I really think they over did it. One scene in particular where I thought it got a little ridiculous was the shower scene. The Prowler stabs her with the pitch fork and the scene goes on way too long. You see her bleeding profusely and screaming. The actress couldn't scream, by the way. They should've had her dubbed because it sounded embarrassing. The Prowler should've stabbed her and that should've been it. They also should've dubbed her scream.

She screamed when she saw him too. The actress just couldn't scream. It sounded comical. The actress in Halloween Resurrection couldn't scream so they dubbed her. Did you ever see the movie Blow Out with John Travolta? In the beginning they're looking at a slasher movie in the editing room and it finally comes to a shower scene where the actress can't scream and the director is telling the sound man, Travolta, to find a scream to dub her with. The funny thing is Blow Out came out also in '81.

I thought that scene where that girl comes in and changes after the roomate is killed was scary as hell.

You KNOW the killer is in the bathroom the whole time.

Then, to make it worse, she GOES BACK, and meets him in the stairs! That chase outta the house me going better than anything had in a long while. I was genuinely scared during that scene.

Yep that scene got me too. I was having to stop myself from shouting out loud for her to get out of there. I thought that scene was so well done and quite realistic when you think about it.
