okay, never seen it before, i love slashers (such as: My Bloody Valentine, Friday the 13th) and i love gory movies!
So, here are my questions:
1. How much gore is there?
2. Is there Sex/Nudity?
3. Is the acting good?
4. Overall, is it worth buying?
5. What would compare it to?

There is some pretty good gore scenes by Tom Savini.
Plenty of nudity.
The acting is as good as any slacher films of that era.
Yes, it's worth buying, especialy if you love the early 80's slasher horror movies.
It's along the line of Friday the 13th, My Bloody Valentine, etc.
I'd give it about 7/10. (some of the scenes drag a bit but overal fun to watch.)
It's gory and it does have some really nice scenes in it for 80's gore hounds.
There is quite a bit of nudity but not as much as say, Friday the 13th films.
Acting is decent and is like most 80's slashers, nobody is really astounding. THE BURNING had way better acting.
It's worth checking out, if you can find it for 10 to 15 bucks buy it but I honestly don't think it's worth 20 bucks for this DVD.
It's a slow movie and there is surprisingly low body count in this which I was kind of shocked about. The deaths we do get were probably gorier and better cause of the low count but it felt like the movie drags at a snails pace during alot of the film.
Bottom line is this...if your an 80's slasher fan, check it out cause it's worth watching. But if you are just trying out the slasher genre and seeing if you like these films, I suggest you watch The Burning, Sleepaway Camp, Black Christmas (not gory or 80's but still a really good flick) or even if you want to up your cheese factor PIECES LOL. You seem like you are into 80's horror slashers so you should check it out. Just expect to be somewhat bored while waiting for the next kill to happen.

I ordered this blind on VHS many moons ago, and was completely surprised by it. It's suspenseful, has some truly great gore - without being remotely "pornographic" or gratuitous, some great locations, decent acting, etc, etc. It was a true surprise packet. I expected crap, like so many crap horror films I'd seen before, and this one wasn't.
You can rest your mind at last, you've resolved the horrors past...
This movie is one of there more realistic and gorier slashers. Yes it is extremely gory and the deaths look very believable. Yes there is a shower scene so there is nudity. As far a sex goes there is none of it. The acting is pretty good for a slasher movie. Yes it is worth buying. It is one of the best slasher movies ever made. The second best at that. I would compare it to My Bloody Valentine and The Burning. 10/10 easily.
