One of the sexiest scenes in the movie, but I get a chuckle out of the fact that when the kid undresses to his swim trunks there is no "bulge" there.
This kid is standing there watching his incredibly sexy housemate take a bubble bath and she is not shy about covering her breasts and he isn't excited.
In real life that kid would have had an erection Barnum and Bailey could have pitched a tent on.
You may be right, as that scene certainly had that effect on me, when I watched it. Of course, even if he had a "bulge" sometime during that scene, it is not going to show up on the screen, because of the actor's age.

If I were directing that scene, I would have shown him taking off the robe but only from the waist up. I would have then cut to a scene of Kristel in the tub glancing down with a sly smile on her face, which would have given the essence of the scene, and, without showing it, shown the audience that the kid was sporting a massive erection and that she was intrigued by that.
That's not unrealistic. When a guy gets too nervous he can fail to get an erection even if he's seeing a sexy naked woman in the bath.
