A question
The trivia section says that Howard Hesseman wore a wig for this film, and that someone else played Phillip, but was fired 18 days into filming. Where's the proof of that?
share3 minutes into the commentary track on the DVD, they talk about the original boy being fired after 18 days. As for the wig, it's obvious just from watching the film. LOL (but they mention it a few minutes later in the commentary too)
shareI read that they mention that a lot of the film's contents had to be re-cut and re-shot for the final cut. What exactly was re-cut and re-shot (aside from the change in the boy playing Phillip)? And was it in order to get an "R" rating as opposed to an "X"?
Also, were there any storyline changes that needed to be made in post-production?
